A day in the life at Sunny Brow
This is how a day at Sunny Brow looks
8:00am
A self-funded early start is available (see link above)
9.00am
Doors close and the session begins with a variety of inputs – Phonics, Numeracy, Peer Massage, Yoga even French lessons!
9.15am
Children work with a teacher on a directed lesson (this could be inside or out) or they have a chance to choose their favourite activity. They work uninterrupted for almost 2 hours, allowing deep concentration and effective learning to occur. During the session a snack is available, fruit, cheese, crackers with water or milk.
11.10am
Children come back together for for another whole class teacher led lesson.
12:00 noon – Doors open for collection of part time children
Afternoons are child led, building on the work children have worked on during the morning.
After school sessions – 3:00 – 4:00
A self-funded after school session is available until 4:00 (see link above)
